What To Spot. There’s always something to see at Foresta 2000, with the forest providing shelter many forms of wildlife. The woodland is made up of native tree species including Aleppo Pine, Holm Oak and Carob. These trees in turn provide a canopy for shade-loving plants such as Bear’s Breeches and mushrooms like the Pine Bolete.

Local residents who are non-WildPass holders can purchase Adult and Child admission tickets online at 20% discount for Non-peak days and 5% discount on Peak days. Child tickets are applicable for guests ages between 3 and 12. Admission for child below 3 years old is free. School groups are to pre-register with the Education department.
Ä gantija Archaeological Park complex is a unique prehistoric monument situated at the centre of an extraordinary archaeological landscape, the Xagħra plateau on the island of Gozo. It consists of two structures built between c.3600 and c.3200 BC. Notwithstanding its age, the monument survives in a considerably good state of preservation.
